About Samantha McCormick

samantha mccormickSamantha McCormick has written over 376 epic poems and 38 critically acclaimed haikus. She enjoys fabricating auto-biographies because let’s face it, people just take themselves way too seriously on the Internet. Fine… here’s the real stuff:

Samantha is an online marketer and writer who recently moved from Boston to Boulder, Colorado because it seemed like a pretty cool place to be. (She was right.) She enjoys writing, cycling, cooking, hiking, camping, and reading (mostly literature but every so often the one-off memoir or weirdish $3 used book sale novel will sneak in there), generally befriends people with great/weird senses of humor, and is currently seeking Friend #2 here in Colorado.

She’s produced some wicked awesome stuff which you can check out in her online portfolio and website. Say hi on Twitter @SamanthaWinning. You can also follow her on Google+, or don’t, she just added this for the rel=author tag.

Question – what is an Asian Dollar store?? I’m from the UK so apologise if this is comes across as a profoundly dumb (oxymoron?) question! :)

  9. ummmmheyyyy February 17, 2009 at 11:38 pm #

Well, Kennedy121, it is not a store that sells Asian dollars if that’s what you were thinking. Oh, it’s a store that sells generic goods made in China. Goods such as the “BENIGN GIRL” yo-yo (mistranslated ‘good girl’ yo-yo). I’d check out http://www.engrish.com to see some other hilarious examples.

Hm, I wasn’t aware the Toykuns were soccer enthusiasts. I thought it was the Africans, Brazilians, and Europeans… seems like everybody but the US is all about it. Nahh, we like our brutish football & ACTION – no action – ACTION -no action -baseball
